Our family will always be grateful to Bloomfield House and the wonderful care my mom received during the 2.5 years she lived there. Helen Tea has created a truly caring, loving home environment, and David Ung, who manages the day-to-day operations, along with caregivers David, Dominic, and the rest of the staff, treated my mom like family. What makes Bloomfield House so special is that it feels like a home, not a facility. With only a small number of residents (I believe there were just 8-10 while my mom was there), each person receives individualized attention and care. The caregiver-to-resident ratio is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and personal. My mom had dementia, and the staff showed endless patience, kindness, and compassion with her every single day. They truly loved her and took exceptional care of her. The residents enjoyed activities, home-cooked nutritious meals, snacks, and families were always welcomed to visit. The private rooms and family atmosphere gave us peace of mind knowing Mom was safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I cannot recommend Bloomfield House highly enough for anyone looking for loving assisted living care for a family member.
