My mom lived at Serendipity in the Sun II for the last few months of her life, passing very recently. I cannot give enough praise and appreciation for the Sits II team - this is a wonderful place with caring, compassionate and patient caregivers. My mom was a "challenging person" in her final years, and the Sits team took this in stride. Never did I worry that Mom was not being given anything short of the best care and attention possible - something especially important to know given that I live 3,000 miles away. If you are ever in need of dedicated care in a clean, calming, home-like setting - do not hesitate to go to Serendipity in the Sun II. My only regret is not having moved Mom there earlier than she did.

As an independent RN patient advocate, I needed to find a better environment for a client living in one of the large assisted living facilities. Serendipity came highly recommended, and I quickly saw why. The staff sincerely cares about the residents, and they take the time to get to know them. The home is modern and spacious, and it truly feels like home. The staff is professional and respectful, offering the residents many choices in what they eat and how they spend their time, all while meeting their every need. Every time that I would drop in, I observed the caregivers interacting with the residents. My client was much happier in this type of environment, and it was the best decision we could have made. I recommend them without hesitation.

My husband was at Serendipity in the Sun 11 for 2 years, having just passed away a few weeks ago. He had Parkinson’s Disease. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring group of caregivers. He (myself and my family) felt part of a family there as well. I was so grateful to have found this home. Because there are only 10 beds, it never felt institutional. It was personal to each resident’s needs. Definitely a 5 star place!!!
