While both Nick and Joanna started off as great care givers and what seemed like a great place for my Mom and Dad to live out there days , things went south quickly when Nick the owner refused to allow Season Hospice to do their job under current CDC and Health department guide lines. My Mother required a review by Physical Therapist and he would not allow anyone new into the home unless they had a negative coved test with in 48 hours that showed negative, even though they had already had their shots. The owner Nick had conveyed to me he did not believe in the shot and no one in the home had been vaccinated. I believe this is because he influenced them not to. He did not get vaccinated and left the home often and returned to take care of residents with out using proper PPE ( face covering which I had observed) which he required. Since he would not cooperate with me and Hospice he asked us to find another place to have my parents live. He would not cover the expense of now relocating them nor return the money owed to them. His reasoning was because they didn’t give him a 30 day notice instead of him kicking them out. His contract requires him to refund and money owed to the client if they are asked to move. After his demand that they move he decides they are leaving with out them proper notification so he can keep their money. I do not recommend this home for anyone does not wish to have caretakers your can not understand , change the rules to satisfy what ever they want to do and who on a regular basis argue with you rather than cooperate with medical and family requests under current regulations
