I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but we cannot recommend Silv and his team enough. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was the place for our Norma.
Silv and his amazing caregivers pour their hearts into this!
My friend and I did our due diligence trying to find the best place for Norma. We visited 5 homes and Golden Crown Assisted Living was by far the best place. It was and always is very very clean, the staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable (Shakera is the best!), and Silv (the man who runs the house) is fantastic.
Our Norma arrived in bad shape, on a feeding tube, needing insulin, in so much pain, and battling a bed sore. Silv immediately offered to craft a custom formula for her and tirelessly advocated for medication adjustments with her doctors, without asking for a dime more than just the usual home rate (which was lower than others!).
We couldn't believe that she actually came off her insulin here, stopped needing constant pain meds, and for a good long stretch of time was pain-free and cracking jokes like the old days! At some point, time still caught up and Jesus called her home, but we're so grateful for the quality of life she enjoyed here.
I cannot say enough about Shakera and the other caregivers here! They are simply angels! They put our minds at ease and gave Norma so many precious years of attention that we're so grateful for!
