My 94 year old mother fell and broke her hip 2 months ago. After emergency surgery and a short stay in an acute rehabilitation hospital I needed a safe place for her as she was not strong enough to go home alone. I was familiar with Fellowship Square as my Mom and I have visited many of her friends there over the past 15-20 years. I met with Tracey and Carolyn, made the arrangements and the day she was discharged from the hospital she had a cheerful staff and cheerful room ready for her! She started in the memory care area because assisted living was 100 percent occupied. This was the FIRST example of how the staff just figures things out and goes out of their way to keep you from being overwhelmed in an overwhelming situation. From that first day I've been so happy that I she is at the Oasis. Patti, Diane, Eric, Sonya and ALL the caregivers are so compassionate, gentle, empathetic and patient..... But at the same time they provide smiles and laughter and a happy environment ( in an environment that's not usually described that way). Mailani has been keeping me totally up to date on the opportunity to get my mom moved into the assisted living area into a perfect studio apartment. What a blessing she has been to me... Mailani has been above and beyond helpful in all of the aspects and challenges I'm facing in getting my mother moved and with her helping me I realized... I'm NOT in this alone after all. Even insisting she'll physically help me with the move. With that I got my head a little clearer and now have everything figured out without have to impose on Mailani. I don't think my words here can express my level of gratitude to Fellowship Square, The Oasis, ALL of the amazing staff... But I'm trying my best. Lastly but of UTMOST importance the food. Their food is DELICIOUS! I've joined my mother for many breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Excellent food - Excellent wait staff - Elijah knows our drink preferences and brings them to us as we're sitting down. He's awesome. I hope the time I've taken to describe my mother and my experience with the care, environment and amazing staff helps others to be confident in trusting and counting on Fellowship Square and The Oasis with the safety and care of their loved ones.
