My husband was a resident at Kozy Gardens from March 1, 2021 until his death on July 2, 2022. I hardly have the words to express my gratitude for the care he received. It’s hard to explain the comfort I received having him in their care. There’s an incredible atmosphere of love that envelops and embraces the residents and their loved ones. I felt a total sense of belonging from the first day. On the more practical side, the home IS a home in every respect - homemade meals with “real” food; there are no rigid routines - if you get up late, your breakfast will be prepared when you are ready, and the same goes for the other two meals; the rooms are homey and spotless; there is absolutely no odor as is often present in care facilities; there is activity and positive vibes at all times; there are many different games and puzzles in addition to 2 tv viewing rooms with lots of super comfortable furniture; meds are carefully monitored and administered. For someone without words, I found quite a few but Kozy Gardens will become a lifeline and source of great comfort to any resident and his or her family.
