Too much wrong with this place for just one review. Anything that a person would be afraid of happening to their loved one happened here. HIPPA violations by discussing my mothers medical info with undesignated out of town family member just because he had access to funds that were paying the 4500 a month they were charging for my mothers stay. They put my mom on hospice and didn't tell her, they singled her out as a problem for being vocal about her wants and wanting to go home. At least 4 other residents told me that I needed to get my mom out of there, that she was being treated unfairly and picked on. The main manager and undesignated family member decided to put my mom on hospice and found a doctor who said my mom had less than 6 months to live but then took my mom off her medication - she passed away 3 days later without any family present. Did not notify any family of her being taken off her meds. They did not call her only in town family member her daughter of her condition while she was dying for 3 days and had her body moved to a crematory they chose before letting family know that she had died. They were not equipped to handle my mom's complex health condition and rather than refer her to skilled nursing took the hospice route of removing her from their care. They were not caring, understanding or professional or ethical as far as I'm concerned about my mother or her care. I was helpless to advocate or chose where my mother died or even to be made aware that she was dying. My other didn't deserve to die alone. I was very vocal about not wanting my mom to die there but they decided that she would die and when and alone. The worst months of our lives were spent dealing with the management. They took something from me and my mother that can't be given back or replaced and decided that she didn't deserve to have her daughter there for her while she was dying. They decide when she would die. No religious rites were given despite her being Catholic - they took that from her too. Nightmare doesn't even being to describe it..
