REVIEW FOR RICHMOND HILLS ASSISTED LIVING
OWNER: TONI DINCA
My father, Verlin M. Crawford, lived at Richmond Hills Assisted Living for nearly 3
years. The owner, Toni Dinca, caregivers, Liz Ilisei, and Neomi Graham, all took superb
care of him.
When he went to live at RHAL, he was mobile with his walker. As time progressed, he
became less and less mobile until he became bedbound. The staff were so attentive and
gentle with him every day. They made sure that he had everything that he wanted or
needed. He was kept clean and neat with a change of clothes every day. When he
became unable to do his personal care, they did it for him without complaints. He
ultimately became dependent on them for everything. I couldn’t have asked for better
care if I tried.
When he had to enter the care of Hospice of the Valley near the end of his life, the staff
worked side-by-side with the nurse, Fayrene Roberts, RN, to provide her the assistance
she would need to tend to his care. It’s never easy to make that transition with a loved
one, but they did everything they could to make it as smooth as possible for me and him
as well.
I would highly recommend Richmond Hills Assisted Living to anyone who has to place a
loved one in such a facility. The facility is a beautiful home that is well-maintained and
very clean. The residents, 8 usually, are healthy and taken care of. The food is
prepared fresh every day. They do their best to accommodate everyone’s preferences.
Toni has been in this business for over 25 years. She is very caring and truly loves each
one of the residents. I’m a retired RN, and one of my former patients has been in her
care for over 17 years. He is healthy and thriving. He’s still a young man, even though
he’s been there for all those years. This was the main reason that I chose Richmond
Hills for my father, and I’m very grateful that I did.
