A couple of months ago my father in law, who was very ill was in the hospital. They told us that when he got out he would need 24 hour constant care. We did a lot of shopping around and interviewed many places but we were not happy with them for various reasons. Then we found this place. We loved the setup as far as they have one house for the ladies and one for the men. Both houses right across from each other. We also loved the fact that Juan and Karen both were genuine and showed that they truly cared for their guests. Not patients, but guests. Their staff was also very attentive and compassionate. My father in law was very happy with the arrangement and voiced his pleasure in these accommodations. Juan and Karen also worked very closely with the Hospice organization to make sure he was as comfortable as possible during his last days. When he finally passed, Juan was at his bedside along with family paying his respects. Afterwards he worked with the Mortuary and family to make sure he was transported in the most dignified manner. I can not say enough about this Facility. In fact calling it a facility takes away from it. This is a home for their guests and they make it feel as such.

I can’t begin to thank Juan & Karen for the recent phenomenal care they provided my dad. The entire staff went above & beyond to provide excellent care. Even my dad said how refreshing to push the call button and someone comes immediately and helps him. My dad was in and out of hospitals and his last hospital stay doctors said he needed 24/7 care which I was unable to provide. His room had a great view. The house was very clean and comfortable. Meals provided tasty too. The one on one care was so reassuring especially when you want your loved one to get such loving care you can’t provide. This assisted living home lives up to its name and is the Best Choice!!!! Also, I saw negative review by Cindy Kellams and apprears she frequently posts negative reviews for various businesses. I would ignore her review and speak to others that highly recommended Best Choice Assisted Living.

As one would expect it is very stressful and emotionally draining if/when your loved one reaches a point in their life that it becomes necessary to rely on a group home to care for them. When my father reached that point in his life, we were extremely lucky to have had Best Choice recommended to our family by his hospice care. It became apparent on our initial interview that Best Choice’s owners (Karen & Juan) and staff were highly competent, very compassionate, and caring. Those feelings were affirmed during my dad’s eight months there as Karen, Juan and Bibian provided top notch personalized care. My father expressed his satisfaction with the home and was extremely happy with his caregivers. Knowing how my dad felt helped ease my family’s minds and gave us a sense of comfort that one seeks in this situation. The staff went out of their way to personalize his care, providing him with his favorite food and drinks. The team was also very welcoming to family and friends on all visits. I highly recommend Best Choice should you require a group home for a loved one. Robert Fort 7/21/2021
