I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vandermeyer senior living. Working with ths facility for more than 4 years would be unfair not to praise them. Communication is outstanding.The care is personalized, reports are timely with the agency involved, very clean , fantastic activities calendar (music, chair exercises, games...), good food 😋 The personnel at Vandermeyer senior living is caring, knowledgeable and attentive. The residents and families I work with are very pleased with their choice.

I have known Lidia for over 20 years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most caring and selfless people I know. Since opening her assisted living home, she has poured her heart into every resident and has made countless personal sacrifices to ensure they receive the best care possible. She is incredibly hands-on and treats every resident with dignity, compassion, and respect. She goes above and beyond by celebrating birthdays, organizing activities, and creating a warm, family-like environment where residents truly feel valued and loved. Caring for the elderly isn’t just a job for Lidia, it’s her calling. Anyone who knows her or has seen the way she cares for her residents knows how deeply committed she is to their well-being. I would wholeheartedly recommend her home to any family looking for a place where their loved one will be genuinely cared for.

I highly recommend Vandermeyer Group Home. The staff is genuinely kind and caring, and you can tell they truly care about the people who live there. The home is clean, welcoming, and they do a great job making sure the residents are well taken care of. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Lidia, the owner, is the definition of someone who truly cares. She pours her heart into her assisted living home and goes above and beyond to make sure every resident is cared for. She is attentive, involved, and genuinely treats her residents like family (not just clients). Her staff is just as exceptional. They are kind, patient, and dedicated, and it’s clear that Lidia has built a team that shares her values and commitment to providing outstanding care. If I ever had to choose a place for my own mom or dad, I would feel completely confident placing them in Lidia’s care. That’s the level of trust I have in her and the home she has created. My friend transitioned here from a rehab facility back in February. He is currently still a resident my family and I come to visit often last Sunday. We celebrated my friends 69th birthday. He had a wonderful birthday party. Before blowing out his candles, he thank God for all the wonderful people that loved him that included Lidia and her wonderful staff We are so blessed to have found VANDERMEYER SENIOR LIVING my friend refers to the staff as his good buddies, and he brags to me how wonderful they are every time I visit. When I used to visit him in the REHAB it was hard to Leave because I saw in his face how worried, scared and alone he was but now when I visit at VANDERMEYER SENIOR LIVING I don’t feel sad when I leave he doesn’t beg me to stay. his smile has returned and my heart is happy.
