My father was at this facility for 10 months. Nice place at the beginning, but unfortunately deteriorated throughout the months. Very high turn over of unqualified (and unfriendly) staff, borderline healthy diet, unsanitary food preparation and clean up, no activities, old, stained, and uncomfortable furnishings. Would not recommend this facility in its current condition. I reported this facility after removing my father due to poor care. ADHS found 10 citations - untrained, uncertified staff. Did not even know CPR. Records not kept, orders not followed. Fake menus i.e. waffles for breakfast when they really got cereal. I am so happy to see this place get "busted" Got to AZ Care Check and see for yourself. My father died 6 weeks after leaving this home. He lost 30 pounds. I will never, ever forgive myself for leaving him in this awful place for as long as I did. Side Note: This business is now operating under a different license, so all ADHS citations are no longer available. Who knew it was so easy to just start over with a new license and erase the past citations. One can only hope they have improved their business.

My experience with Ambience Care Home began in June of 2014. I had fallen and broke the third lumbar vertebrae and the heeling process was very painful. I spent three weeks in the hospital and better than a month at a rehab facility. In June, when I had to transfer out I found Ambience Care Home and I spent ten weeks there. When I arrived, I was totally wheelchair bound and when I left I walked out with my. For the next two years I was able to use the walker only. In April 2016 I became very ill and had to return to the hospital for three weeks. At this point, I was totally unable to take care of myself at home. I once again reconnected with Ambience and was taken in with great loving care. Every aspect of my life has been taken care of and I am treated with love and respect. The food is great, the home is very clean, my clothes are always clean and I feel I have been very blessed. I would recommend Ambience Care Home totally, completely and unconditionally.

I am a licensed social worker specializing in geriatrics and have worked in healthcare for 25 years. Both of my parents - who are in their 90's - have been residents of Ambience Care Home. My father has been there for over 2 years, now, while I have been able to bring my mother back to her house where I am her 24/7 caregiver. Being very realistic about and familiar with 24 hour care needs and care settings, my experience with this facility's administrator and staff has been extremely positive. I am thankful I found Ambience Care Home while I was considering removing my parents from a former assisted living/group home that was not providing appropriate care especially to my mother. This place has been wonderful. I am so thankful for their services!
