Information we collect

• Information you provide. Your name, email, phone number, care needs, and the messages you send when you request a tour, submit an inquiry, claim a listing, or contact support.
• Operator & facility information. Details about a care home — license status, capacity, bed availability, room types, pricing, and photos — submitted by operators or sourced from public state licensing records (e.g. AZDHS).
• Care operations data.For operators who use the compliance platform, records needed to run a home. Residents are referenced by a de-identified label only (see "Health information" below).
• Usage & device data. Pages viewed and basic device/analytics data collected to operate and improve the Services.

Health information & HIPAA

Klerion is designed to minimize sensitive data. The platform does not store resident names, dates of birth, or Social Security numbers; residents are referenced by a de-identified label (for example, initials plus a room number). Where Klerion processes protected health information on behalf of a care-home operator, we do so only under a written Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with HIPAA. Operators are responsible for their own compliance obligations, including obtaining any resident or representative consents required by law.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number — for example, to receive weekly availability check-ins as an operator — you consent to receive text messages from Klerion at that number. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of using the Services.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Your use of payment features is also subject to the processor's terms and privacy policy.

How we use information

• Operate the directory and connect families with care homes.
• Provide the operator compliance and operations platform.
• Respond to inquiries, tours, claims, and support requests.
• Send service messages and, where permitted, updates about the Services.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share inquiry details with the care home you contact so they can respond. We share data with service providers who help us run the Services (such as hosting, analytics, email/SMS delivery, and payments) under contracts that limit their use of the data. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
